Fees:

• Initial consultation: $250 or $500*

• Follow-up visits for psychotherapy or combined treatment: $250

• Follow-up visits for pharmacotherapy ("medication management") only: $300

*I offer the option of an extended 100-minute initial session since there is often too much to cover in a single 50-minute consultation. I set aside 50 minutes for all follow up visits.

Session fees are slightly higher for patients who are not seeing me regularly for therapy (i.e., less than once every other week). This is due to the higher proportion of out-of-session time typically spent on documentation, insurance prior authorizations, and other correspondence and administrative tasks when meeting less frequently. For patients interested in meeting more than once per week on an ongoing basis, fees may be adjusted to help offset the cost of more intensive treatment. I am otherwise at capacity for sliding scale/reduced-fee therapy, but I can add your name to a wait list if you would like to be notified when sliding scale/pro bono hours become available. 

Insurance:

My practice is out of network with all insurers. I do not submit claims or receive payments from any insurance provider, including Medicare or Medicaid. While I do not work with any insurance companies, I can provide you with "super bill" documents that you may to submit directly to your insurer for reimbursement. I would encourage you to review your plan documents and/or speak with your insurer to determine your eligibility for out-of-network benefits -- you may be eligible for reimbursement of none, some, or all of my fees. 

Billing/Payment:

Patients are asked to maintain a card on file, and payments are processed electronically on a monthly basis. Superbills are typically available by the first Friday of the next month.
